Theft from a motor vehicle is when property is stolen from either inside or outside a vehicle. This includes roof racks and items on them, the back of a truck, trailers that are attached to the vehicle and property that is on a cycle rack. Entry may have been forced to the vehicle or the vehicle may have been left insecure.
