The offence of burglary, which is entering a building or part of a building as a trespasser, either to commit, or with the intention of committing theft, grievous bodily harm or criminal damage.
Premises that may be subject to a burglary are residential, business or commercial premises, sheds, outhouses, workshops or garages. It can include any permanent residence whether that be long or short term e.g. a holiday let, caravan, halls of residence or a rented room in a shared house.
